Today my oldest, Rush, became a big boy and finally lost his first two teeth. Boy, what an ordeal it was!! He was drugged and gassed but still managed to put up a pretty good fight in the dentist's chair. After much screaming and crying, our dentist(who by the way was probably born the year I graduated from high school) breathed a deep sigh of relief when he pulled out both of Rush's bottom front baby teeth. He had some permanent ones growing in right behind them so now they should fit in quite nicely. Rush immediately requested that we write a note to the Tooth Fairy and ask her to leave some money but please not take his teeth because he wanted to save them. I think the Tooth Fairy can oblige!
