Well, best laid plans....and then life happens. I can't believe it's been over a month since I've blogged. I'm going to try and condense this past month's events into one post. I hope it's not too confusing!! After Christmas vacation we had a multitude of family functions we attended including my brother's kids birthday party. Both Leah and Will were born in January so they had a joint birthday blowout with a magician in Russellville. The kids loved getting together and enjoyed the magic! Will turned 8 and Leah turned 5. My time flies!!
In late January, we met one of my dear friends, Carter Sayle at Red Robin for a night out. He was in town visiting because his son, Zachary was playing the lead in the traveling musical, "Chitty Chitty Bang, Bang!!" He told us all about life on the road. Rush was particularly mesmerized. (He's now asking to try out next year for Fantasy playhouse shows. So, I guess we'll see.) Anyway, we went to see "Chitty's" Friday night performance and it was fantastic! Zachary was great and we got to go backstage afterwards. The kids enjoyed meeting Zachary and the cast and getting autographs. It was truly a magical night for all of us!
